What's new

Here you can read what has changed in the tool: new features and improvements, newest first.

October 2026

  • A speaker, entrance, final farewell or live music block without a photo of its own now shows the fixed photo automatically.
  • With a single link, the family can work on the presentation without an account, right up to the final version.
  • When several people work on a service at once, their changes are merged block by block.
  • Set up a logo and contact details for each of your businesses and choose for each service which one it belongs to.
  • The Collaborate page is clearer, and the share link for the venue now sits right below the downloads.
  • You can now put videos between the photos in a music block; they play silently while the music carries on.
  • A video now stops on its last frame and fades smoothly into the next slide.
  • Tracks are automatically levelled to a similar volume; you can switch this off under More settings.
  • A long silence at the end of a track is automatically shortened to one second.
  • Choose for each service how much space there is around the photo: generous, narrow or none.

September 2026

  • The order of service (PDF) has a calmer layout, with your logo top right and your contact details at the bottom.
  • New Custom block: several photos that each move on after a set time or on a click, with music underneath if you like.
  • Turn a photo a quarter with one click in the photo editing window.
  • If a block has no photo yet, the tool tells you, so a slide without an image never ends up in the presentation.
  • A music block with a single photo shows it for as long as the track plays, without extra transitions.

August 2026

  • Preview each block with its photos, transitions, timing and music.
  • Upload almost any photo, music or video format (such as HEIC, m4a and mov); the tool converts it into formats PowerPoint plays anywhere.

July 2026

  • A new service starts with an entrance, speaker, music and final farewell block.
  • Alongside the instruction document, the tool now also creates an order of service (PDF) for the family and speakers.
  • The tool has a fresh, calmer design on computer and phone.
  • Funeral-ppt.com is live: build an order of service from blocks and download a working PowerPoint with music, transitions and timing.
