Terms of service

1. Who we are
Funeral-ppt.com is a service of Du Preez Creaties, a sole proprietorship registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 84894814, VAT NL004036433B34 (hereinafter: “we”). Contact is via the contact page.
2. Applicability
These terms apply to creating an account and to any use of the tool. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.
3. The service
With the tool you build a running order from blocks and generate from it a PowerPoint file with the corresponding timings, transitions and media. Building it and viewing a trial version (with a watermark and reduced photo resolution) are free.
4. Account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your data and for keeping your password confidential. You may not use the tool for unlawful purposes.
5. Credits, prices and payment
- The final version of a service costs 1 credit per funeral service. The credit is only charged once the final export has succeeded.
- After the first final export, the service remains free to edit until 7 days after the funeral date (or 30 days if no date has been entered). After that the service is locked; reopening it costs 1 credit. The files do remain downloadable until the automatic deletion (see article 9).
- Prices are in euros and include 21% VAT. Payment is handled by Mollie. Credits are valid for use within the tool and are not paid out in cash.
6. Right of withdrawal
Credits and the final export concern digital content that is delivered immediately. For consumers, the statutory right of withdrawal lapses as soon as delivery has begun with your express consent (namely at the moment you redeem a credit for a final export). Until that moment you can withdraw a purchase of unused credits within 14 days. Business customers have no right of withdrawal.
7. Rights to uploaded material
You are yourself responsible for the photos, music and videos you upload and for the necessary rights to them (including copyright and neighbouring rights in music). You indemnify us against claims by third parties arising from the material you upload.
8. Availability
We make every effort to keep the tool available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, faults or force majeure may temporarily limit the service.
9. Retention and deletion
A service and all associated media are automatically and completely deleted 30 days after the funeral date (or 30 days after finalising if no date has been entered). Until then you can download the files; shortly before deletion we send a reminder. Unfinished concepts we delete 90 days after the last change. We do not keep personal data longer than necessary, so make sure you download a final file in good time and store it safely; after deletion we can no longer retrieve it. 10. Liability
The tool is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the matter concerned. We are not liable for indirect damage or for failing to download and check a presentation yourself in good time. Always check a generated presentation in PowerPoint before the service.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the district of Gelderland, the Netherlands. If you use the tool as a consumer, this choice does not affect the protection you enjoy under the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
